अनारम्भस्तु कार्याणां

अनारम्भस्तु कार्याणां प्रथमं बुद्धिलक्षणम्।
आरब्धस्यान्तगमनं द्वितीयं बुद्धिलक्षणम्॥
IAST transliteration
anārambhastu kāryāṇāṃ prathamaṃ buddhilakṣaṇam।
ārabdhasyāntagamanaṃ dvitīyaṃ buddhilakṣaṇam॥
English meaning
The first sign of intelligence is never to begin an enterprise without thinking of our capacity and the second sign of intelligence is finishing the enterprise which has been started.
