तुम्हापासी एवोनिया आम्हां काय काज
व्यर्थ शीड आहे चालण्याचा

tumhāpāsī evoniyā āmhāṃ kāya kāja
vyartha śīḍa āhe cālaṇyācā

Once Shivaji Maharaj, with very respect sent for Sant Tukaram. He even sent a palaki to bring him. Sant Tukaram replied:

What is the use of me coming to you? On top of it, I will get tired in the journey.
